BANK is thrilled to announce that Zhang Yibei is featured in Falling Up, currently on view at Outside Art Space, Beijing, from 19 May to 19 September 2026. Curated by Leo Li Chen, the exhibition brings together works by eight artists and considers how individual life and inner spiritual aspirations might be situated amid social norms and institutional pressures.
Taking its title from Shel Silverstein’s poem Falling Up, the exhibition unfolds around the paradox between ideal life and the predicaments of reality. Within this framework, Zhang Yibei’s Walking Through the World for No Reason is presented as a newly commissioned work for the exhibition.
