Austin Lee (b.1983) lives and works in New York. He received an MFA in Painting from Yale School of Art and a BFA from Tyler School of Art. He has since staged several solo exhibitions in the US, Europe and Asia. He was included in M WOODS, Beijing, as well as projects at the Tate Modern, London, Vancouver Art Galley and other International art museums and institutions. He was also written about in The New York Times, The NY Ob- server, Art in America, ARTnews, Hyperallergic and so on. His works cover digital media, painting, and sculpture. He combines traditional media with electronic technology. While paying tribute to Renaissance paintings, he also embodies digital landscapes associated with contemporary reality.

Lee has previously been presented in a number of group exhibitions, including “Wild Metropolis” (Powerlong Museum, Shanghai, 2019), “Juxtapoz x Superflat” (Vancouver Art Gallery, Vancouver, 2016), “Full of Peril and Weirdness: Painting as a Uni- versalism”, M Woods, Beijing, 2015).
