BANK is thrilled to announce that Lu Yang and Lin Ke are featured in Forever Tomorrow: Chinese Art Now, on view at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki from 2 May to 23 August 2026. The exhibition explores the groundbreaking landscape of Chinese contemporary art through sculpture, photography, digital works, and more, examining themes of rapid change and social transformation.
Spanning decades of artistic exchange since China’s Reform and Opening Up in 1978, the exhibition considers how a new generation of Chinese artists have responded to profound shifts in society, from rural to urban, traditional to modern, and industrial to global powerhouse.
Through contemporary works that range from reimagined traditional craft to digital landscapes and large-scale sculptural forms, Forever Tomorrow: Chinese Art Now presents a dynamic view of Chinese art today and its continuously evolving cultural context.
