BANK is pleased to announce "ghostivity", a solo exhibition by Lin Ke at The Former Residence of Ho Tung in Shanghai, curated by SenSend, on view from March 20 to May 14, 2025. Marking BANK’s inaugural exhibition in its new Shanghai venue following the gallery’s acclaimed Anfu Lu space, this presentation also constitutes Lin Ke’s third solo project with the gallery.
ghostivity is both a playful inspiration and an act of creative defiance. Lin Ke aims to construct a visual state of spontaneous manifestation—a space where digital files emerge into the physical world. By toggling layers on and off, adjusting parameters, and shifting transparency, the act of viewing resembles a computational process. Each change in perspective becomes a personalized interaction, turning the exhibition space into an ever-evolving digital workspace.
Blending ghostliness with creativity, ghostivity embodies an intuitive, decisive approach—precise, direct, and capturing fleeting moments. As a file resurfaces, once-hidden layers reappear, reshaping the structural relationships within the image.
