BANK is delighted to participate in Esther III from May 12-16, 2026 at the historic Estonian House, a four-story Beaux-Arts landmark. with a presentation of works by Alice Gong Xiaowen and Florian Meisenberg.

Alice Gong Xiaowen (b. 1994, Beijing) lives and works in NewYork. She has recently been named a finalist for the 2026 New York City Artadia Awards. She holds an MFA from Yale School of Art (2025) and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2016). Her practice uses acts of indexing and material translation to meditate on anticipated loss. She works with remnants of fading sound and texture, reconjuring memory to create relics from what is slipping away. Through crafted and found objects, her work produces a collage of referents that suspend the potential and discrepancies between aural and visual language.

Florian Meisenberg was born in 1980 in Berlin, Germany, and lives and works in New York. Meisenberg's work oscillates between and encompasses painting. installation and film. Meisenberg's paintings simultaneously conjure lightness and depth; they vary greatly in density and rendering, employing multi-layered compositions that display themes of digital apprehension and abstract interiors alongside cartoonish figures and scrawling statements. His delicate, oblique films capture intrigue in the banal moments of contemporary existence.
