Wang Rui's sketch series, The oracle as a fragment of the scene, is currently on display in the exhibition "Options of Intimate Relationship" at CPI, Chengdu. In her works, the subtle changes in the heart are captured by non-linear narrative images. All scenes are fragile and gentle, which shows a calm and orderly emotional universe. Intimacy is conceived as a mind-connecting game in this exhibition. The meaning of the work is explained in a relaxed manner: the courage of self-disclosure and the depth of emotional attachment, the interpretation and suspicion of the current social system, the confrontation and reconciliation in the coercion of consumerism, the hustle and bustle of screen-scrolling culture, and the elimination and replacement driven by instant gratification. In random interactions, the subjective initiative of the viewer is emphasized, and individual feelings and the discussion of intimacy are linked.
