Lin Ke's art installation Chinese Landscape Painting is featured in The Exhibition of Annual of Contemporary Art of China Shanghai 2024.
The exhibition is an annual record, review and presentation of the status quo of contemporary art in China, in a way of the combination of documents and art works, and this is also the sixth time that the exhibition has been held in Shanghai.
Directed by the Shanghai Culture and Tourism Bureau of Hongkou District, and organized by Chinese Modern Art Archive(CMAA), Peking University, Institute of Contemporary Art, Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art, and Wu Zuoren International Foundation of Fine Arts, and co-organized by the 798 Art Committee, the exhibition concentrates on presenting a compendium and explication of the new phenomena and issues of the past year of China's contemporary art scene, which is in itself art, not science. In the process of modernization, modern science and art together carry many facets of the human spirit, and today's ever-changing digital intelligence, as well as innovations in computation, materials, biology and so on, announce the furious progress of modern science and technology.
