BANK is proud to announce artist Chen Yujun's participation in the 2017 Bi-City Biennales of Urbanism\Architecture taking place in Nantou, Shenzhen, continuing through March 17th, 2018. There are more than 230 (group) participants on the list from more than 25 countries and regions. Diversified participants from multiple backgrounds will bring works of multi-collisions in urbanism, architecture and arts, including a large number of newly created site-specific works for Nantou Old Town and this Biennale. The categories of works cover a wide range of fields including large public art and architectural installations, videos, paintings, multi-media, literature, and behavioral arts etc. The Biennale will draw attention to urban village, a unique product of China’s urbanization and take the opportunity to initiate an unprecedented urban experiment. Developed from the previous fields of Urbanism\Architecture, this Biennale will take its first official step into the field of art with three major sectors, Global | South, Urban | Village and Art Making Cities.
