On April 20, 2023, SpaceX, the U.S. space exploration company founded by Elon Musk, maidenly lauched its super-heavy-lift rocket, code-named Starship, from its own launch site in Boca Chica, Texas. Despite the unsuccessful launch that day, the Space X-built Starship is still the world’s largest and most powerful spacecraft and launch system ever. The massive spacecraft is 50 meters tall and has a diameter of 9 meters. In the future, it will be able to carry up to 100 passengers per flight. The Starship will change the way we explore the solar system. It will be able to transport 100 metric tons of cargo, including humans, on regular, cost-effective missions to space.
