Lin Ke’s performing video work Fly is on display at the PSA collection series exhibition “Once Upon a Time.” In the performance video work The Fly, the artist sits cross-legged in front of a computer, his gestures are like a kitchen robot cutting spaghetti on a touchpad while the cursor flits around him like a fly. He operates the laptop from a distance via a touchpad and uses a front-facing camera to record himself interacting with the mouse cursor.
The exhibition “Once Upon a Time” focuses on artists living and working in Shanghai, who tell stories of different times in the same place through a variety of creative languages, which are both long memories and a prolongation of life and consciousness.
