Lin Ke's watercolour painting Untitled and Wang Rui's paper work Untitled are both based on AI-generated images provided by the exhibitor, and are currently on display in ‘Meme to Jam’, an exhibition co-curated by Hangzhou's X sign Space and BRITA 131.
The boundaries between design and art are blurring as cross-border integration has become a trend of the times, and the increasing maturity of AI technology has also infiltrated into everyday creation. X sign Space, in collaboration with the School of Visual Communication of China Academy of Art and BRITA 131, organised the exhibition ‘Meme to Jam’, which invited 141 artists to ‘improvise’ together to complete their works. Human and AI are involved in the creation of art, about colour, about imagination, about interweaving and creation.
