Craig Easton 克雷格·伊斯顿 New Zealand|Australia, b. 1961

Craig Easton has exhibited extensively throughout Australia and internationally since the mid 1990s. His abstract painting practice expands through object, video, drawn, photographic and spatial-architectural realms to create more inclusive possibilities for abstraction as a constantly evolving critical language.

Recent 2020 exhibitions include his 35th solo exhibition 'Paintings for a Black Pavilion' at Brett McDowell, New Zealand; 'Abstract Constructs' at Shanghai Opera House; 'The Paul Guest Prize for Drawing' at Bendigo Art Gallery, Australia; 'Path to an Enchanting Seclusion' at Xinqiao Art Museum, Shanghai; and 'Algorithm Aesthetic' at La Trobe Art Institute, Australia.


His works are held in collections including the National Gallery of Victoria Australia, Bendigo Art Gallery, Federal Court of Australia, National Australia Bank (NAB) - Australia and UK, Shanghai Opera House, RMIT University Collection, La Trobe University Art Collection, East China Normal University, Justin Art House Museum, Siemens, Artbank.
