HEIDI VOET (b. 1972, Belgium) is recognized for her playful and provocative practice. She splits her time between Asia and Europe, often using resources and references from both areas for conceptual fodder in her work. Her artistic enterprise can be characterized by a wondrous engagement of everyday life and materials. Her work has been showcased at the Power Station of Art, Shanghai; MoCA, Shanghai; Hangzhou Fiber Art Triennial; IT Park, Taipei, Taiwan, WIELS Contemporary Art Centre, Brussels; L&M Arts, Los Angeles and CAC Lithuania. Her work is also on permanent display at chi K11, Shanghai.
