Lore Vanelslande is born in 1983, Belgium. She graduated from The School of Arts in Ghent, in 2007. From 2008 until 2012 she lived and worked in Shanghai. Since 2013 she is living and working in Ghent, Belgium. Her work can be described as geometrical abstractions. There are links to our most ancient cultures as well as quantum phycics. The aspect of time or better said, timelessness is quite apparent in her work. The symmetry and geometry will take you to a place outside of our linear and material world, and connects to a part of you that has been existing there forever. Her work has been exhibited in Shanghai, Bejing, Xiamen, Hong Kong, New York, Naples (Florida), Brussels, Basel, Barcelona, and Lima.
