BANK is delighted to announce our participation in Art Basel’s second iteration of Online Viewing Rooms with a selection of artists whose works resonate with the current socio-political climate, where the human body has become a site for the discourse of brutality. Disease, belligerence, and anger are recalibrating our global and national structures and pushing us through the threshold of a new era, one in which we hope that clarity and community arises, and where wisdom will lead. These artists focus on innate human compulsion to affect change with their most intimate and immediate catalysts- their own bodies. The body for these artists is vehicle for liberty, fantasy and for redrawing the narratives that have been imposed upon us but no longer function.
